VAGS Västerås Amateur Geologists Society

VAGS is a society for people interested in all aspects of geology. There are approx. 220 members in the society, most of them living in the Västerås area but many in the rest of Sweden and also a few abroad.

VAGS organizes annually a Mineral and Gem Show .
It is in the beginning of October. For 2023 it will be on 7–8 October.
We have participants from Denmark, Finland, Norway, Sweden and some other countries. Entrance fee is SEK 40 We estimate the number of visitors to some two thousands.
